Thank you for taking part in this study. Patients increasingly ask health questions in writing and receive written replies, and what a reply should contain differs from question to question.
In this study, you will read real patient questions and, for each one, judge short pieces of possible reply content: which the reply to that question must cover, which are worthwhile to include but not essential, and which should be left out. Your judgments will serve as an expert reference for how replies to such questions should be composed, and will guide research on what constitutes a patient-centered reply.
There are no right or wrong answers; the study seeks your professional judgment. The full task takes several hours in total; you can pause and resume at any point, and your responses are confidential and reported only in aggregate.
